Speedport Smart 4 – User Manual
When you have the Speedport at hand, remove it from the box and click "Next".
Keep the original packaging of your Speedport for a return shipment.
If the Speedport is damaged, do not put it into operation! If in doubt, contact the Telekom Technical Support.
At a DSL connection, plug the DSL cable into the DSL socket of your Speedport.
At a DSL connection, plug the DSL cable (gray plug) into the telephone socket (middle socket)
installed in your household.
If there are multiple telephone sockets in your household, use the main telephone socket. If
necessary, ask the owner or landlord which one it is.
Plug the included power adapter into your Speedport and into a power outlet.
The automatic setup of your Speedport starts and can take up to 15 minutes.
Take a look at the display of your Speedport during setup. The display will inform you when the setup
has been completed successfully.
